Vered & Lewis - Outdoor Jewish Wedding Ceremony at Slaugham Place, East Sussex

This summer I was lucky enough to photograph the amazing jewish wedding of Vered and Lewis at the incredible Slaugham Place in East Sussex.  A setting like no other, Slaugham Place has a real sense of history and romance about it. With the sun beating down everything was perfect for Vered & Lewis to get hitched! Jewish weddings are energetic, fun and colourful occasions full of love and togetherness. After completing the traditional Jewish wedding ceremony which included the breaking of the glass by Lewis it was then onto the crazy dancing in the marquee!  There's only one word for it...wow! If you're taking part it will leave you totally exhausted after being thrown, spun and bounced around! I didn't know which way to turn, on my left was Lewis being thrown in the air and on my right was Vered doing a spot of skipping! haha ...An amazing wedding which I will remember always as being such good fun! Congratulations to you both!!

Carrie-Anne & Doms alternative vintage wedding at the Electric Cinema, Birmingham

Carrie-Anne & Dom decided to get hitched last month at the Electric Cinema!. This is the oldest cinema in the UK and located in the centre of Birmingham! Wow what a funky, retro and alternative wedding venue! It was my first wedding in a cinema and loved it. Carrie-Anne wore a gorgeous vintage wedding dress by Lindy Bop and looked every inch the stunning, stylish bride! It was quite surreal to be shooting on the cinema stage looking out at the guests all comfy in their cinema seats!

We made use of as much of the cinema as possible including the projector room and wallpaper from the Great Gatsby movie! From here we walked the short distance to Cherry Reds cafe for the chilled out reception. Carrie-Anne and Dom were not particularly interested in posed group shots instead wanting lots of candid, documentary pics of their guests enjoying themselves. It was such a cool and relaxed wedding, just the way I like them!

Lydia & Ed on their colourful autumn engagement shoot in the cotswolds

Autumn is my favourite time of the year to photograph happy couples! The colours and tones are incredible and you can't beat wrapping up in a wooly hat and gloves! A few weeks ago I spent a fun couple of hours with Lydia and Ed in the medieval town of Tewkesbury situated in the Cotswolds. My pre wedding and engagement shoots are brilliant at showing couples how I shoot and what their wedding day photography will be like. This awesome twosome were so chilled out and happy to go with the flow it made for some awesome pictures! I'm really looking forward to shooting their big day next year!!
