A Unique Chinese Wedding at the Spectacular Medieval Warwick Castle in Warwickshire

When I was approached to shoot Mengyi & Yu's Chinese wedding at the spectacular medieval Warwick castle in Warwickshire I jumped at the chance! I've shot Chinese weddings before but never at a castle so how could I resist this cool combination! The day started with bride and groom prep. I first met Mengyi and her mum in the hotel for hair and makeup. Yu was also getting ready in another room downstairs with his parents so I went from one to the other snapping as I went! Once the final touches were finished including an important necklace for Mengyi we made our way to the castle for the ceremony. Despite the grand hall being pretty dark it was perfect for atmospheric images. Thankfully my Nikon D750s have awesome low light capabilities ( all hail Nikon! ) The ceremony contained elements of Chinese tradition such as the passing of the rings between the guests, tea making and lighting of candles. After the ceremony we made our way outside for some pictures where we had fun exploring the grounds before dinner was served in the magnificent dining room! It was certainly a unique and memorable wedding day!

Ash & Alex share their wedding day love at Old Albanians RFC in St Albans, Hertfordshire

" Thank you so much for all you did on our special day and for being friendly and up for a laugh! People kept commenting afterwards how subtle you were with the photography and how they loved the non-obtrusive style - just what we wanted! Can’t wait to properly look through all the photos  thanks so much again! "

After having a FaceTime chat with Ash & Alex a few months before their big day I knew they were going to be a cool couple to photograph and their wedding day would be full of fun...I was proved right, what an amazing wedding! I met up with Alex at the Queens Head pub in St Albans which very handily was positioned right outside St Leonards church where the ceremony was happening. After the service and awesome confetti shots we then jumped in our cars and popped over to the Old Albanian RFC just ten minutes down the road for the reception and evening shenanigans. The guests couldn't fail to be entertained with crazy golf and games of poker to enjoy plus it meant loads of things for me to photograph, just how I like it! Ash and Alex were so friendly and made me feel part of the gang so a big thank you to you both!

Becky & Harry - Super Relaxed Documentary Wedding at Hampton Manor in Hampton in Arden

We’re extremely pleased with the photos, they’re exactly what we were after!. We’ll not hesitate to recommend you in our friendship group!

A hot summers day combined with a super cool couple made for one heck of a great wedding! It was my first time shooting at Hampton Manor in Hampton-in-Arden and I hope it won't be my last. Bridal prep took place in one of the stunning bedrooms at the hotel. The huge windows were perfect for capturing great candid shots of Becky and the girls getting ready. Harry was a stones throw away at the White Lion pub across the road. There were so many great spots around the venue for couple shots including a very rustic greenhouse and barn! Becky and Harry were perfect to work with and happy to go with the flow and let me do my thing! I was so lucky that their family and friends that attended this awesome wedding were full of fun and character. Theres always great documentary shots to be had if the guests are up for the party! Thanks to you both and best of luck for the future!
